On Saturday, November 20, the Center Street Band will
be joining forces with To the Max, Shade, Christopher Robin, Daniela Cardillo, and Holden Truelove in a
benefit tribute to Keith Lebo and Jimmy DeSantie at the Westport Country Playhouse. This
night of music will benefit the Swim Across the Sound fund for pancreatic cancer support. The benefit will
also include refreshments and a silent auction.
Keith Lebo was the guitarist for the Center Street Band from 2005 until his illness in 2009. He
lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer in August, 2009. In addition to the Center Street
Band, Keith played with several bands during his musical career. He started in the 1960s with drummer George
O'Grodnick in Doo-Wah and the Diddys, Sunny Vance and the In Group, and Potters Field. During the 1970s,
he was an integral part of Castle, which included CSB founder Howard Russell and current guitar player, Paul Gabriel.
More recently, Keith played with Shade and To the Max, before finding his way to the Center Street Band.
In addition
to his superb guitar skills, Keith was also an outstanding songwriter and producer in his own right. On
this night, we hope to be releasing a collection of Keith's material, in what will essentially be Keith's CD release
party. Proceeds from this CD that night will also be going to the Swim's pancreatic cancer fund.
Please join us for a great night of music, tribute,
food, and fun while supporting a great cause.

Sadly , I have received news that Peter F. D'Addario has passed
away. Pete gave me may first teaching job as a guitar instructor between stints on the road in 1970. We had a lot of
laughs over the years. Pete was a great drummer in the Big Band days. The music community will miss him greatly.
News Update 3/24/10
Much to my surprise, after seeing numerous pictures of American Idol finalist Katie
Stevens in the newspapers and on the internet it dawned on me that she looked very familiar. Katie sat in and sang a great
version of Etta James 'AT LAST' one of the nights The Paul Gabriel Trio was playing at Club 121 at the Oxford
Airport. She was amazing to say the least. While I don't follow American Idol at all, it's nice to see a great young
talent making her way. Good luck Katie.

News Update 8/28/09
Sadly, on August 25th, 2009, long time friend and guitarist, Keith Lebo passed
away of pancreatic cancer. My relationship with Keith goes back to the very early 70's when along with my former writing
partner and friend Howie Russell (1950 - 2005)- we embarked on our first road tour playing music, which lasted about two years
and covered about 500 gigs. The formative years, some people say ---yet the memories of those two years sometimes
still fuel my musical passion today.
Keith Lebo, like Howie Russell, will be missed greatly, but never forgotten.

BLUE IN THE FACE BIO
Blue In The Face was formed in 1986 by founding member and bandleader Paul Gabriel. The blues-
based rock- R&B group released three highly acclaimed albums - the first receiving a four star review from Downbeat
Magazine. During it's ten year life span Blue In The Face toured regionally in New England and shared the stage with some
of the greatest blues acts that ever existed. Some highlights of the tours were performing with B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Albert
Collins, James Cotton, Lowell Fulson, Robert Cray, Matt Murphy, Johnny Winter, Delbert McClinton, Lonnie Mack, Duke Robillard,
Ronnie Earl, Roomful Of Blues, John Hammond, Debbie Davies, Tower Of Power and many more. After the first album
scored 4-stars with Downbeat,
the second release had a regional

well known Blues performers.
The reunion band will feature many
of the original members of the group including Howard Eldridge - vocals, Paul Opalach - bass, Chris Cross - guitar, Roy
Rodriques - Hammond organ, Barry Urich - drums, Bob Nunno - tenor sax and Paul Gabriel -guitar. In the post Blue
In The Face era all the members have continued to perform professionally on the national and international level.
